MEK seals a deal with Alcorta Forging Group

The MEK Group has won a five year contract with Alcorta Forging Group to a value of 18,000,000 M€. MEK will invest 4,700,000€ in this project on three Hydromat HS12 transfer machines.

The product – a transfer machined stainless steel forged injector – will be installed in petrol injection systems manufactured by Continental for General Motors and its general market will be shared between Europe, Asia and the USA.
As a result of this agreement, two companies from the Basque Country have come together to supply a leading multi-national company.
The agreement will lead to the creation of 15 new jobs, 12 of which will be direct positions and 3 of which will be indirect positions. It will also generate value for local businesses.
