Engineering

1

Product Engineering

MEK is continually growing and evolving and places great emphasis on R+D+I with the aim of providing customers with top-quality products and the very best in customer service.

2

Process engineering

Thanks to the synergies between the different companies, MEK is a turnkey supplier with the ability to respond to the markets needs and demands.

Machining

1

Transfer machining

Rotary transfer machines which can carry out several high-precision tasks at high-speed production rates. Our machining centres mean we can put high-precision and top-quality products on the market at very competitive prices.

2

CNC Machining

Highly automated machinery which can carry out several machining operations in a single facility using computerised numeric control and with minimum human intervention. It's a high-speed manufacture machining system.

3

High-precission turning and grinding

High-precission turning and grinding refers to the manufacture of rotational parts (screws, axis, bolts…) by machining material in bars or rolls and removing chips of material using cutting tools.

Materials

1

Forging and hot-stamping of non-ferrous metals

This is a plastic deformation shaping process in which material deformation occurs through the application of compressive forces. This manufacturing process is used in order to shape metals and alloys and give them specific properties through the use of high pressure.

2

Sintered steel

Sintering is a thermal treatment on a metal powder or compact metal without heating it to the point of liquefaction in order to increase strength and resistance by means of fusion between particles.

Design

1

Product design

Area specialised in the design of knobs and handles for the furniture and household goods industries. Our skill, experience and understanding of the industry mean we are able to provide customers with design and consulting services as well as personalised manufacture.
